From the source....

This Rev. Wright stuff is terrible. I'd walk out if I were at church and the preacher started spitting this. But Americans will make a judgment, and I don't believe in guilt my association. I have plenty of associates who say offensive things but have redeeming qualities.

I'm satisfied to take Senator Obama's word on his association and knowledge of these sermons, because having read all of this autobiographical materials, and countless profiles and stories, I've never once detected anything that would lead me to believe otherwise.

This is politics, a story that has been around for a year is like blood in the water. Soon enough, the sharks will smell it.

See for yourself, from the Obama Campaign:

Oh, and the Chicago Tribune, not the friendliest Obama Paper, is satisfied in putting the Rezko issue to rest. Explain to me again about the Obama media bias?

The bias was a proven fact until about 3 weeks ago. No one would argue otherwise. For instance, fox news broke on the Rev, 5 months ago and mentioned it before that when Obama pulled Rev. Wright from his presidential announcment in Feb. of 2007... Back when Obama first knew he could be a problem. 2 weeks before Ohio, his media coverage was 5 to 1 positive and it dropped to 2 to 1 with the Rezko scandel.

I agree in not holding guilt by association... but 20 years is a long time and to be close friends with someone who his close friends with farrakhan. Its okay though, now his wife is proud of America for the first time, so Im sure he will eventually turn into a patriot. Bottom line is that he know about all this stuff before the media broke it and he is nothing more then a shrewd politician.

And the Rezko thing is not over, the trial is just beginning and Obama is named in the complaint as receiving kickbacks. Not to mention his convenient 300k discount on his house.

What?

So why do I care that Rezko thinks Wright is a patriot????

The rezko story shows Obama's true colors. There is no coincidence there. Obama saved 300k and a man that earns 36k a year purchased a 650k plot of land right next door. It just so happens the seller of the house would only sell both together??? Come on man... you cant be that blind. Obama later bought some of that land for 100k.

He said there was another offer on the plot of land and thats why he paid full price while obama got 300k discount... bullshit. Why would Obama not just let the other guy buy it? What would he care? The facts show that he knew all of what Rezko was doing before this went down and he was still doing sketchy deals with him. Maybe its typical of chicago politics, but that doesnt excuse it.

I guess I'm just not open minded enough to ignore facts and refuse to draw logical conclusions.

You have to at least be able to admit he is nothing more than a shrewd politician... You don't think after 20 years of going to church he would have ever heard his preacher say something controversial? Come on.

As soon as i saw this, i had to categorically denounce... COME ON. You saw this years ago.

If not in person, his advisors sure as hell told him about them over a year ago when he started to distnace himself from Rev. Wright by asking him not to accompany him on his public announcemnt to run for president. He had asked him prior.

First off this is from more than 2 surmons and they at least span from 9/16/01 to a few weeks ago when he made the hillary comments.

If he didn't attend church on sunday, I'd bet he heard about them on Monday.

Either way, Rev. Wright has always been controversial and Obama acknowledges that. He is like an uncle who says things Obama doesnt agree with. (except Obama voluntarily maintains a 20 years relationship with him). Rev. Wright has been stirring up controversy since 1970's.

If this isn't typical and people in the church dont share those views... Why is every member of the congregation going nuts and standing to their feet clapping every time he says one of these bigoted anti-american comments?
