Wow, just when he was beginning to enjoy his irrelevance...
Bush has a Victorian fantasy to be in Afghanistan, on the front lines of his wars. Boy, he certainly didn't jump at the chance to do so during Vietnam. Unless of course you count protecting the skies of Texas from the Vietcong.

Having an out of touch leadership produces an out of touch electorate. Example A - The percentage of people who know the number of US troops killed in Iraq (3887 as of today): 28%

Maybe I am missing something... have any of the democratic candidates served in the country's military at all?
My guess is if you asked people if US deaths were closest to 5k, 15k, 25k, and 50k the percentage would be about the same. You could reasonably think 50k+ have died the way the media covers it.
So if what you say is true, an out of touch leader leads to out of touch voters; you think maybe we should have someone in office with experience?
Well either way i dont understand how elected an out of touch leader produces out of touch voters.
I love liberal thought, you do realize liberals are not a majority of the people in America right? You add up moderates and republicans, it would be far more.
You somehow think that everyone who doesnt share your views is "out of touch."
As a republican I can disagree wtih every word you say, but I'm not going to pretend you are the only one who thinks that way.
